For the second straight year, Albany Law School has donated student-assembled bicycles to the Boys & Girls Club of Albany.  The bikes will be presented to the children of the Delaware Avenue Boys & Girls Club on Friday, September 25.

“It’s wonderful to have another bike donation from Albany Law School,” said Justin Reuter, Executive Director of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Albany. “And it’s great to see students coming together to make it happen. Hopefully this will encourage other members of the community to get involved in their own way.”

All six bicycles – courtesy of the Colonie Northway Target –(Click here for a photo album) were built by first-year law students as part of an ice-breaking and team-building exercise during last month’s orientation.

Associate Dean for Student Affairs Rosemary Queenan, 1L Student Bar Association President Gabriella Romero and others from the Albany Law community will be on hand Friday. Representing the Boys & Girls Clubs of Albany will be Reuter and program director Ishmael Morton.
