9th -12th graders from Trinity Institute, Albany, Schenectady, Troy and Hudson High Schools will spend the day at Albany Law School on Monday, April 21, 2008 (from 8:30am – 2:30pm).

 Students will attend mock college classes, mock law classes, a seminar on preparing for college, learn

about the law school admissions process, and explore their career possibilities in the field of law.

Albany County District Attorney P. David Soares ’99 will spend lunchtime with the  100+ students and Attorney Kenneth Standard, Partner, Epstein Becker & Green, NYC , will host the day.

The day aligns with Albany Law School’s “pipeline” efforts to introduce the prospect of law school at an early age to populations underrepresented as lawyers.

Students will be in the following locations throughout the day:
East Foyer Registration/Breakfast: 8:30-9:30am
DAMC Welcome Remarks, Mock College Classes, 9:30 – 11:30
GYM Lunch 11:35am-12:35pm with Albany County District Attorney, The Honorable P. David Soares ’99
GYM, West Wing Classroom & Courtyard (12:45- 2:30pm) – Mock law school classes and other activities
@ 2:40pm (School buses will pick-up students – by the flag pole entrance)
