On Tuesday, April 20th, the Health Law Society and the Office of Student Affairs are hosting the “Health Law and You” event, aimed at addressing how the new federal health care law affects us as individuals. The two guest speakers, Anton Konev, Albany Common Councilman for the 11th Ward, and Corey Ellis, Former Albany Councilman/Former Chair of Albany for Obama/Delegate to the DNC, will discuss how the recently passed federal health care law, The Affordable Health Care for America Act, and how it will affect New York State residents and most Americans.
This event which is open to the public takes place at Albany Law School, in the Matthew Bender Classroom, Room 425, from 4:30pm – 6pm. A Dinner Reception to follow.
