APALSA & Amnesty International Presented a Refugee and Asylum Law Panel on “The Social and Legal Aspects of Human Trafficking” on March 26, 2008 at 4:00 pm in the Dean Alexander Moot Courtroom.

The speakers were:

Seth Leech, Whiteman, Partner, Osterman & Hanna

Kimberly Finnigan, Associate, Whiteman, Osterman & Hanna

• Mokaya Bosire, Human Trafficking Coordinator, Catholic Charities

They led an interesting discussion of the social, emotional and psychological impact of human trafficking and the associated legal and practical remedies.
